This site was broken by a Joomla! update, and I have been busy rebuilding it from the ground up. Most of the content and functionality has now been replicated successfully... there's just the massive Christmas Truce article on the 'to do' list now, after which I'll look into aesthetic improvements and then some new content.

Video embeds are definitely also planned in conjunction with the revival of our Youtube channel. In future I will be showing my face and presenting the material more as I would in person in my reenactor or battlefield guide role.

Thankyou for bearing with us - we have at least definitely succeeded in our aim of making this website more mobile-friendly (something which has been overdue for years).
